Echoes of Holidays Past, Present & Yet to Come …

A season of giving, gratitude and gentle reminders of what truly matters.

This year, Crosstown Landing is beginning what we hope will become a cherished annual tradition ~ supporting local seniors and adults with disabilities through Granny’s Closet, an Anoka-based organization serving the greater Sherburne County area.

Each year, Granny’s Closet provides much-needed comfort, care, and household items to disadvantaged seniors and disabled adults. Their annual Holiday Angel Program allows community members to “adopt” a need and donate specific items to bring warmth and joy to someone’s season.

This year, we wanted to take things a step further. Rather than focusing on a single one-time donation, we’ve partnered with Granny’s Closet to compile two special lists:

  • High-Need Items (immediate essentials most requested this season)
  • Men’ sweatpants (L-3XL)
  • New Sheet Sets (Full & Queen size)
  • New Bath Towels
  • Always-in-Need Items (ongoing necessities that help sustain care throughout the year)
  • Laundry Soap
  • Fabric Softener | Dryer Sheets
  • Clorox/Lysol Wipes | Sprays
  • Paper-towels | Cleaning Sponges
  • Mops | Buckets | Brooms | Dustpans
  • Toilet Paper | Tissues
  • Shampoo | Conditioner
  • Body Wash | Bar Soap | Hand Soap
  • Hand & Body Lotions
  • Deodorant
  • Toothbrushes | Toothpaste
  • Razors | Shaving Gel | Shaving Foam
  • Combs | Brushes
